The Cool Brass Quintet

Cool Brass comprises a number of talented musicians, each accomplished in their own right. It was formed in 2004 to serve the Durban and surrounding area of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, with that unique brass sound that we so love.

Other musicians soon wished to join the fold, plus the fact that some of us are multi-talented in vocals and other instruments, with the result that Cool Brass is able to offer a variety of keyboard accompanied solos, duets and other combinations to suit most occasions.

Our repertoire continues to expand, thanks to our talented 'in house' arrangers. In many cases we have arranged pieces for certain occasions and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
